the goods station in dresden-friedrichstadt is the largest one within the city of dresden. since 1990, the station lost partly its strong importance for the handling and transportation of industrial and agricultural goods. there is integrated a station for the suburb transportation. especially in the night the whole station with its waggons is dived by some lamps into a strange light, so that a very dark situation is created. the pictures are mainly shot from a cross-leading bridge over the station.
